SMS Terms and Conditions

These SMS Terms and Conditions (“SMS Terms”) govern your participation in the text messaging program operated by Peach Electric Inc. (“Peach Electric,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to receive text messages from Peach Electric, you agree to these SMS Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Program Description

Peach Electric Inc. operates an SMS messaging program for customer communications related to our electrical contracting services. Messages may include:

  • Appointment scheduling and confirmations
  • Technician dispatch and “on the way” notifications
  • Job status updates
  • Quote and estimate follow-ups
  • Invoice and payment notifications
  • Service reminders
  • Account-related correspondence
  • Occasional promotional offers (only to customers who have opted in to promotional messaging)

2. How to Opt In

You may opt in to receive text messages from Peach Electric by:

  • Providing your mobile number when scheduling service by phone at (916) 333-0473
  • Submitting a request through any form on peach-electric.com that includes an SMS consent checkbox
  • Booking online through our scheduling system
  • Providing your number to a Peach Electric technician or office staff member in person
  • Replying to a confirmation or opt-in request from us

Consent is not a condition of purchase. You can use our services without agreeing to receive text messages.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your service activity. You may receive messages related to scheduled jobs, dispatch updates, and follow-ups. Promotional message frequency, if applicable, will not exceed a reasonable cadence.

4. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Standard messaging rates from your wireless carrier will apply to all messages you send to or receive from Peach Electric. Peach Electric is not responsible for charges from your wireless carrier.

5. How to Opt Out (STOP)

You may cancel SMS messages from Peach Electric at any time. To opt out:

After you send STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message, after which no further messages will be sent unless you re-enroll. You may re-enroll at any time by contacting us or by checking the SMS opt-in box on a future form submission.

Our SMS program is compatible with major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to your carrier’s network availability and is not guaranteed.

8. Privacy

We respect your privacy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information collected through our SMS program (including mobile numbers and opt-in consent data) is used solely to deliver the messages you have agreed to receive and to operate our service. SMS opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.

We may share necessary information with subprocessors that support delivery of our SMS program, including:

  • Twilio Inc. (our SMS messaging platform)
  • Housecall Pro (our field service management platform)

These vendors are contractually bound to protect your data and use it only to operate the service on our behalf.

9. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to opt in to receive SMS messages from Peach Electric. By opting in, you represent that you are the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number provided.

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued participation in our SMS program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
